Overview

MacArthur Project, Yerington, Nevada (Copper)

The MacArthur copper mine is located in a world-class copper district in western Nevada, 50 miles southeast of Reno. Known global resources in this prolific district exceed 2.1 billion tons averaging 0.34% copper. Several additional known resources can be found in the surrounding area - most notably the Bear Deposit, Pumpkin Hollow and Ann Mason deposits.

Located in the heart of the Yerington-MacArthur copper district, the MacArthur copper mine is a stand-alone, fully-stripped copper oxide deposit with potential for expansion. Since 2007, 120,389 feet of drilling has been completed demonstrating MacArthur to be a low-cost, open pit, run-of-mine, heap leach project with a short timeline to production.

An updated NI43-101 shows that MacArthur is an extremely large, low-grade deposit that remains open to expansion. The shallow mineralization and favorable topography, combined with available resources and infrastructure are factors that could lead to the development of a near-term heap leach operation.
