Yerington is a world-class copper district with a total district metal endowment of 24 billion pounds of copper of which Quaterra's projects represents nearly 1/3. Located in a mining-friendly jurisdiction of Nevada with substantial infrastructure and water rights, Quaterra is well-positioned to advance this asset to arrive at a full-scale production decision point.

Assets include 6.5 square miles of patented claims and fee mineral properties centered on the former Anaconda open pit copper mine. A NI43-101 resource was completed in 2012 validating an historic copper resource and demonstrating expansion potential. This property, the Bear Deposit and the MacArthur Copper Project, provides the Company with a dominant land position in the center of a prolific and expanding copper camp.
The acquisition by SPS of historic copper resources and valuable water rights in a mining friendly state with excellent infrastructure presents an opportunity to fast track the project.
